Rolwaling region is one of the most remote parts of the Himalayas in east-central Nepal close to the Tibet border. It consists of a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by astonishing fluted icy peaks from every corner. This is the valley where the tales of much wanted YETI is heard about.

Trekking to this region one can experience true world class remoteness. Here one can explore steep ridges with spectacular mountain views, diverse flora and fauna and rich local culture. The beautiful landscape, stunning views of Gaurishankar (7,145m), Melungtse (7,181m), and other mountains dominate the region. The remote villages of Beding (3,690m), with its famous monastery, plus the village of Na (4,183m) and Tso Rolpa Lake are the major attractions of this region. ). After passing through Tashi Lepcha we arrive at Khumbu region and continue our trekking for few more days until we end at Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu
Rolwaling valley is the birthplace of Temba Tsheri, the first youngest Sherpa guy to have climbed Mount Everest on May 22, 2010, successfully. Temba Tsheri still holds the record title of ‘youngest Everest Climber’ in the Guinness World Records.
There are several trekking routes inclusive of “three high passes” and most challenging “Sherpani Col” one has to encounter. All the trek requires full board camping with full preparation of camping logistics. Trekkers require a good walking experience and a good physical stamina to do trekking in the Rolwaling region.
