After exploring all the major cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu valley you take an exciting mountain flight to Lukla and then walk uphill through the Dudh Koshi Valley, enclosed by the soaring snow clad peaks of the world’s highest mountains. It is a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, a popular market place. A rest day in Namche Bazaar helps you to acclimatize and have an opportunity to explore around the major attractions. Leaving Namche Bazaar you then follow the trail to famous Tengboche Monastery, located high on a ridge. From here you can have magnificent 360-degree panoramic views of Everest, the Lhotse-Nuptse Wall, Ama Dablam and Kantega dominate this peaceful and spiritual location.
While passing through Sagarmatha National Park, Buddhist monasteries, Sherpa settlements you will ultimately reach Everest base camp. Next day you trek to Kalapatthar (5445 m) recognized as the best view point to see Mount Everest will be your next destination in the Himalayas. After trekking to base camp and Kalapatthar you return to Namche and Lukla for your return flight to Kathmandu.
