Gasherbrum II is the third highest peak of the Gasherbrum massif, and the thirteenth highest peak in the world. It is generally considered one of the easiest 8000 meter peaks, though like any mountain of its stature, an ascent is not to be taken lightly. Located on the Pakistan-China border in Gilgit-Baltistan region, climbing to this mountain is much different than Nepal and China.
For some climbers it is quite challenging to summit but one can content with nature on all levels. Its beauty belies the harsh terrain, giving one the sense of Shangri-La.
An unexpected situation can always occur, especially this part of the region. So please make sure your Travel Insurance includes right level of Cancellation Cover for you.

up and down.

will be put in place where necessary. Camp 2 is located on an excellent platform and offers stunning
