Travel to Gurvanbulag soum (a local administration unit) in Bulgan province around 280km for 4-5 hours.
Afternoon, visit the nomad family of Gurvanbulag community,will welcome you with their unique
traditional hospitality. They offer unconventional home-made special dairy products, such as “aaruul”-dried
curds, Gurvanbulag is a small community, initiated by few local families who live in the beautiful natural
reserve of Khognokhaan Mountain. Mongolian salty milk tea-Suuteitsai and so on. You can interact with
nomad people and get more intimate with their nature hugging lifestyle. Stay overnight in Community

You will master the art of tying halter, hobble a horse by leather strap and saddle Mongolian horse before
a ride. You will testimony the skills of Mongolia cowboys catching the horses by “uurga” – traditional
wooden lasso and training an untamed horse which has never been ridden before. Afternoon there you will
visit “Nomad Library Project” and experience the campaign. For dinner you will enjoy “Khorkhog”, is real
Mongolian barbeque, grilled with hot stones. Stay overnight in Community Based Ger camp. [BLD]
In the next 2 days, enjoy your walk through the steppe, sand dunes and mountains and reach the Khugnu
Khaan Nature Reserve. Day walk for about 18-20 km. Stay overnight in tent. [BLD]
Our hike takes you along on the holy mountain Khognokhan Nature Reserve. Explore to Erdene khamba
monastery and ruin of Uvgun monastery. Stay overnight in tent. [BLD]
For the next day you will spend your time on the back of two-humped Bactrian camel. Followed by brief
instruction for riding Mongolian camel you will get acquainted with the camels and tacks. Camel ride will
take about 4-5hours for a day. Enjoy the camel riding across the sand dunes of Ikh Mongol Els. Stay
overnights in Ger camp. [BLD]
Travel to Kharakhorum for 90kms. Kharakhorum is the ancient capital of Mongolia where Chinggis Khan
established his headquarters in 1220. In 1235, his son and successor, Ogodei built a palace enclosed by
walls. You will visit newly built Kharakhorum Museum and ErdeneZuu monastery, the largest and first
Mongolian Buddhist temple complex built on the remains of 16th century Kharakhorum city. You will also
attend a workshop for manufacturing hand -made felt items by the local people followed by a stay overnight
in Ger camp. [BLD]
Travel to Khustai National Park will take 5-6 hours’ drive for 270kms. Khustai National Park
encompassing an area of 50.620hectare is the habitat of resurrected wild Mongolian horses, popularly
known as Takhi (Przewalski’s Horse). Explore the park to see the Takhi horses in the wilderness. Stay
overnights in tent. [BLD]
Today you will start riding in the morning and head to next relay (horse station) for 30kms through the
open steppe where ancient Turkish monument from 6-8
th century. Stay overnights in tent. [BLD]
Today you will travel for 90kms to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. Guided
shopping for cashmere and souvenirs. Enjoy the farewell dinner. Stay overnight in hotel. [BLD]
